What people ask most
How long does a website take?
Three to four weeks from order to launch. I give the exact date in the quote and I keep to it.
I have no copy. What then?
Nothing. In BUSINESS and above I write the copy — out of a half-hour conversation about what you do. You read it and say what to change. In START I expect you to supply the basics, but I will edit them with you.
I have no professional photos.
I pick the usable ones from what you have — usually more than you think. If there really are none, I write you a list: what to shoot, from where, in what light. A phone does this better than you would expect.
What does running the site cost?
Hosting with me is CZK 800 a year. The domain depends on the extension, typically CZK 200–300 a year. Nothing else — no monthly retainers, no licences, no plugin fees.
What will you need from me?
Half an hour for the first call, answers to a few questions about the business, access to the domain (if you already have one) and whatever photos you have. That is all.
Will I be able to edit the site myself?
Yes. At the start we agree which parts you want to edit — usually text, prices, opening hours, photos. Those I make editable and show you how. Leave the rest to me: when you want a change, you write and I make it.
Can the site be expanded later?
Yes. I build so a page, a section or a language can be added without rebuilding everything. Expansion is charged by scope.
I already have a site. Can you take it over?
I can, from anyone — I do not need the original author's cooperation. I tell you up front what is worth saving and what is cheaper to rebuild. Page addresses are kept or redirected, so you keep your search positions.
What about Google, Maps and reviews?
The basic listing and structured data are part of BUSINESS and above. Full Google Business Profile management — photos, posts, replying to reviews — I do for an extra fee, billed by the hour.
How does payment work?
50 % on order, 50 % after launch. By invoice, normal terms. No hidden extras — the price in the quote is the final price.
What happens after launch?
14, 30 or 90 days depending on the package, I fix anything that turns up for free. After that I stay reachable — you write to me, not to a ticket queue. A small change usually happens the same day.
Why you and not an agency?
At an agency you also pay for people who never touch your site. With me you talk to the person building it. I take on fewer projects — but every one of them end to end.

I'm Aleš Pokora, and AP Digital is me. I do the design, the copy, the code and the deployment myself — so there is nobody on your project whose job is to pass it along. Ask a question and it is answered by the person who wrote the thing.
I work from Chrudim. Mostly for businesses whose customers live two streets away — and sometimes for ones exporting to dozens of countries. A restaurant and a pool-enclosure manufacturer solve different problems but answer the same question: who is this meant to speak to.
